Firmin Bouisset was a French painter, poster artist and printmaker. He specialized in painting children subjects and did a number of illustrated books. Bouisset created posters with enduring images for a number of different French food companies. He is probably most famous for his posters for the French chocolate manufacturer, Menier.
Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence taht Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
